KOYCEGIZ

 Koycegiz district was first established near the Koycegiz lake in 1867 with the name of Yuksek Kum. Later, the settlement took the name of köycegiz, which means "little village" in Turkish language. You can reach Koycegiz from Dalyan by boats. On the market day of Koycegiz (Monday) there are tours available from Dalyan Harbour.
